A weekend full of shootings. The heavily gun-regulated Chicago experienced a shooting during an Independence Day Parade when a man decided to start opening fire on the people below killing 6 and injuring dozens more. The shooter who we will not name ended up having an extensive history with the cops including making violent threats as well as threatening to commit suicide. Both of these should have been enough to disqualify him from ever owning a gun and it should have. We need to do something to stop the mentally unstable from getting guns what that is I do not know but something needs to be done.
